Acne free- a real life case study is the theme of this website. Millions of people suffer from acne and it ruins their confidence and leaves them feeling dejected. Acne was once associated with teenagers who would out-grow acne by their twenties. However, it is becoming increasingly common for adults to have acne and it is reported that about 25 million adults in the USA are receiving treatment with even more millions not getting treatments. Reports indicate that the problem is in fact increasing as time goes on.

I am one of those people. I have suffered for over 10 years with acne (see my story) over my neck chest and back. I have been to the dermatologist three times who gave me different treatments one of which was roaccutane. Although some people have reported success with this, it did not work for me and left me depressed and generally felt horrible.

I basically fell into a cycle of just accepting that I had it and just left it. I gave up about trying to figure out how to get rid of acne. It has gotten to the point where I have been too embarrassed to take my top off in public and it is starting to affect my everyday life by restricting the things I can do. This has given me the motivation to break free of this disease and finally get acne free. I will tackle how to get rid of acne head on and document it here on my website via blog posts and a diary type stye of food eaten etc.

I no longer accept to live like this and I don’t expect anyone else to either. I hope you will find information on here that will help you to break free of this disease and get on with your life. Due to the fact that I have had such a bad reaction to conventional acne treatments that were prescribed – I have decided to make this public so others can learn and watch me get acne free.
